GREETINGS
The Staff and Management of MGS welcome our jewels back to school after several weeks of stay-at-home order by the government in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19. We thank God specially for keeping us all safe, sound, healthy and hearty, even in the face of a ravaging pandemic, that has now changed the way things would be done henceforth – New Normal.

THE NEW NORMAL
The new normal, as being observed around the world, are the new-ways of interaction between two or more persons, due to the outbreak of Covid-19. As a school, the safety of our pupils, parents, members of staff and the community is paramount. We have put necessary materials/personnel in place to ensure that we have a hitch-free term. Before anyone is given access into our facilities, on a daily basis, you are required to do the following in compliance to the given procedures:
i. Have your temperature checked and recorded.
ii. Wash your hands with soap and water and use hand sanitizer.
iii. Have your facemask or face shield, or both on.
It is expected that our pupils with teachers’ supervision maintain physical distancing and wash or sanitize their hands frequently. Our sanitary officers are also working round the clock to ensure a healthy and germ-free environment.

CLUB/SPORT and Other Non-Curricular Activities, Excursions and End of the year party
Every extra-curricular activity, cultural day, chess, music, experiential Friday, etc, that encourage physical contact, are on hold for now, following the directives given by the government in the prevention of Covid-19.

FREE THURSDAYS & FRIDAYS TOP
The CLO is giving every pupil of Majestic Global School one free Thursday and Friday top only as part of support for our parents.

PUNCTUALITY
Arrival: Pupils are expected to be in school early enough to allow them some time to settle down before the day’s activities.
There will be no General Assembly for now; every pupil with their respective class teachers observe their Classroom Assembly by 7:45am.

Departure/Pick-up: At the moment, the school (Nursery & Primary) close on Monday to Thursday at 2:00pm, and 1:00pm on Friday. It is expected that every child leaves the school by 3:00pm latest.

DRESS CODE
Parents are expected to follow our Dressing Code this school year, viz:

Monday/Tuesday Check Shorts/Pinafore, White Shirt/Blouse, and White Socks.
Wednesday Sportswear and Black Socks/ Black Canvas.
Thursday/Friday Black Trousers/Skirt, White Polo and Black Socks/ Black School Shoes

SCHOOL CALENDAR: The school calendar attached to this letter contains dates of events that are noteworthy. The term started on 21st September, 2020, with COvid-19 training for the pupils on Monday and Tuesday, and revision of work done for before the lockdown in March. By the second week, we shall be conducting an entry/ welcome back examination for every pupil in order to know the level each child is presently and how to address them individually, other activities for the term and their dates are on the school calendar.

TEACHERS’ TRAINING
Our teachers shall henceforth be having regular trainings both within the school and outside the school for better performance.
